The system can identify missing or improperly worn equipment and immediately alert supervisors. It works in various lighting conditions and can track multiple workers simultaneously.

Can the system detect unsafe behaviour, not just PPE?

Yes. Beyond PPE detection, YAFE detects unsafe behaviours like working too close to moving machinery, standing in rotating zones, riding on forklifts, and unsafe climbing. It also monitors vehicle-pedestrian interactions and alerts when pedestrians enter forklift lanes or vehicles exceed speed limits inside the plant.

What happens when a safety violation is detected?

When a violation is detected, the system immediately sends alerts to supervisors via mobile app or dashboard. Alerts include video evidence, timestamp, location, and worker ID (if available). Supervisors can then intervene immediately. All incidents are logged for compliance reporting and trend analysis.

Does the system use facial recognition or worker identification?

YAFE can optionally integrate with worker ID systems (badges, RFID) to identify individuals, but facial recognition is not required. The system can operate with or without worker identification. Privacy is maintained through secure data handling and compliance with local regulations.

How is video data stored and who has access?

Video data is stored securely on-premise or in encrypted cloud storage. Access is restricted to authorized safety personnel and supervisors. The system complies with data protection regulations and can be configured to delete video after a specified retention period. Only alert summaries and incident logs are typically retained long-term.
